Graduates of the Business Information System degree programme combine business knowledge with technical skills and are qualified for a range of jobs including Business Analyst and IT Strategy Manager.

Entry Requirements

Any one of the following qualifications:

• Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) / GCE ‘A’ Level with TWO (2) full passes or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.0; Computing, Business Studies,Economics, Information and Communications Technology (ICT, or Visual Art, AND Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with credit in Mathematics.
• Pass relevant Foundation / Matriculation programme with CGPA 2.0 from institutions recognized by Malaysia Government AND Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level (Insitut Jati)*;
• A Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be admitted subjects to a rigorous internal accessment process;
• Any other Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 AND credit in Mathematics at SPM Level;
• Pass SMIII (UEC) with minimum 5Bs including Mathematics*;
• Other equivalent qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government*;
• Other equivalent foreign qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government*

English Language Requirements

(For international students only)

• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with minimum overall Band 6; or
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with minimum score of 550; or
• Cambrige or Edexcel GCE ‘A’ Level; or
• Equivalent intensive English course conducted by Kolej Universiti Linton.
