Introduction
Bachelor of Science (Computational Mathematics) offered by the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu.
The program is open to all graduate students STPM, Diploma and Matriculation or equivalent qualification.
Lens
To realize the full development, Malaysia requires expertise in various fields of science, especially Koputasi Mathematics and Mathematical Finance. Both programs are thus able to provide academic and professional training in the field of Mathematics and related fields. Scientific research projects and industrial training is also offered in the final year students and the program is to produce graduates who are well prepared to meet these needs.
The Department of Mathematics seeks that each student is provided with a computer so that the learning process more robust and can effectively be implemented, especially in the face of current mathematical problems. It is hoped that these programs produce graduates who have the sense of mathematical thinking, sensitive responsiveness, the sharp banding, the accurate analysis and original creativity.
Career Prospects
Policy-based integrated education where mathematics and statistics are offered along with a variety of other disciplines, each program offered to produce graduates capable of Computational Mathematics or Mathematical Finance highly knowledgeable, efficient, competent and able to provide excellent service in the various sectors of work.
