The programme provides a strong fundamental in planning, designing, managing and implementing aspects of landscape, both in the man-made and natural outdoor environment. These environments are established through the application of softscape and hardscape elements to create a quality, balanced and conducive environment for the needs of human. The programme integrates subjects that equip students the requisite practical skills, knowledge and creativity so that they are competent in developing a sustainable environment, and possibly transforming a space to a place. Aspect of social, culture, aesthetics and physical contexts are integrated in the landscpae architecture programme. As such, the programme prepares graduates to work and contribute pro-actively within a broad range of professional practice in the building construction realm.

The Bachelor Architecture is equivalent to LAM Part II qualification (awarded by the Board of Architect Malaysia). Graduate with good design portfolio in the Bachelor of Architecture may apply for LAM Part II exemption and register as a Graduate Architect. Graduate with this qualification will need a minimum of two years relevant working experience and pass the LAM Part III examination to become a Professional Architect.
