This programme equips students with sound knowledge and skills in Quantity Surveying practices such as preparing feasibility study of the project; handling financial issues of the project; preparing tender and contract documents including measurement of construction works and pricing; evaluation and selection of appropriate procurement system, contractual arrangement and tendering method which satisfies the client’s needs in term of time, cost, quality and legal aspects; and advising the contractual issues based on general contract principles of Building Contract as well as general legal principles of Contract Law, Sale of Goods Act and Law of Tort.
Entry Requirements
- STPM with minimum 2 Principal Passes in the relevant subjects
- A-Levels with minimum 2 Passes in the relevant subjects
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with a Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) 70 and at least Grade B in 2 relevant subjects
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with an average of 70% in 6 relevant subjects
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 6 relevant subjects
- Foundation in Arts (TAR UC) Track A
- Foundation in Science (TAR UC)
- Relevant Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning
- Relevant Matriculation Certificate, Ministry of Education
- Relevant Diploma from Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman (KTAR) or TAR UC
- Relevant Diploma from other Institutions of Higher Learning accredited by MQA
- Other qualification accredited by MQA
- And:
- At least a Credit Pass or equivalent in SPM English Language and Mathematics
