The Public Relations (PR) programme started in 1972. The outcome of this programme focuses on producing public relations professionals and practitioners who are passionate, knowledgable and able to contribute to the PR industry and the country. The programme is affiliated with the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia through its IPRMSA-UiTM chapter.
Furthermore, networking and linkages are developed with most of the key industry players, government agencies such as Shell, ExxonMobil, MATRADE, PNB, Petronas, Eric Pringles, Ogilvy PR and many more.

Graduates can look forward to work as Public Relations Officer, Corporate Communication Executive, Media Relations Officer and Information Officer. They can also choose to work in public relations agencies as consultants or in multinational companies, non-profit organisations and government sector.
