The three-year Bachelor of Finance (Honours) {BFin (Hons)} degree programme is designed to expose students to critical finance concepts and strategies, and help them to acquire leadership skills that are essential for employment in the financial services industry. They will be able to make complex decisions using modern finance, accounting, investment and management analysis methods.

Additionally, students will also learn to apply their knowledge to real world situations through case studies and cooperation with outside organisations. Given such academic exposure, graduates of the Quest International University’s BFin (Hons) programme would be at an advantage in securing career opportunities in both private and government sectors.

The combination of courses offered in this programme allows for greater flexibility in the choice of careers. Students can choose to specialise in areas such as Banking, Islamic Finance or Financial Planning.

Duration

Full-Time:
The bi-semester programme is taught over a period of three years..
Part Time:
The tri-semester programme is taught over a period of five years.

Assessment

Students’ ability is gauged both through continuous assessment and a final semester exam. The continuous assessment comprises of tests/quizzes, mid semester examination and projects/assignments that accounts for an allocation of about 40%-50% of the coursework marks. The balance of the marks is
allocated for the final examination.
