BACKGROUND PROGRAM

Bachelor of Education (Islamic Education) with Honours is a program that has been planned by the Ministry of Education and implemented by USIM in 2007. The first intake for this program is a total of 64 people. To be eligible to be awarded a Bachelor of Education (Islamic Education) with Honours, students are required to follow the requirements, rules and regulations made by the Ministry of Education, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and Faculty of Major Languages. Bachelor of Education (Islamic Education) with Honours requires 138 credit hours and performed for eight semesters (four years) of full-time.

 S that govern entry

Pass SPM / equivalent with credits at least five (5) subjects including the following subjects:

• Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia;
• B

Any two (2) subjects;

• Islamic Education;                                                        
• Tassawur Islam;
• Syariah Islamiyyah Education;
• Education of the Quran and the Sunnah;

One (1) other subjects and

• Pass English at that level.

Everywhere have the following eligibility:

• STAM pass with at least the rank of Jayyid; or
• Passed STPM with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies and at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in the following subjects:

– Arabic / Sharia / Ushuluddin, and

– One (1) other subjects.

• A diploma or other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government and approved by the Senate.

Has met the minimum MUET Level 1.

Passed Exam Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MedSI) and Interview set.

Apart from academic qualifications, positive attitude, active, leadership and excellence in general knowledge is a priority.
