Admission Requirement

STPM holder and obtained at least Grade C in General Paper, Additional/Advanced Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

or

Diploma holder from IPTA/Polytechnic/Equivalent with at least a CPA  of 2.70 or 2 years of working experience in related fields (for those with CPA less than 2.70)

or

Obtained KPM Matriculation Certificate with at least Gred C in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

And

CREDITS in Malay and a PASS in English at SPM.

And

Obtained at least Band 1 in the “Malaysian University English Test” (MUET)

General Requirements

The general academic requirements for admission into undergraduate degree programmes of UTHM are :

1. At least three (3) principal passes in the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced level’ (GCE) ‘A’ Level Examination (UK Educational System) obtained in one sitting; OR

2.  International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum of six (6) subjects obtained in one sitting ; OR

3. A Diploma or any other Equivalent Qualification recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the University; OR

4. Any other qualifications that are recognized by the Senat of the University as equivalent to the above.

AND

5. TOEFL with minimum 500 marks IELTS with minimum Level 5 OR MUET band 2.

6. If applicants do not satisfy requirement no.5, they are required to enroll inPrepatory English Course for one semester.
