Computer science is a field that should be developed in order to increase knowledge and information technology in the techno-socio-economic development of education and research. The benefit is to accelerate the accumulation, processing and dissemination of information and analysis can be done efficiently and accurately. This will provide a significant impact on the development of techno-socio-economic stability of the country, especially in the face of competition through manufacturing and international trade and globalization. Unfortunately, the intrusion in the computer industry seems to be a common phenomenon experienced by the organization. Thus, the computer and information security is important to all government organizations, private sectors and individuals.

Program Objectives:

After completing the program, graduates will be:

• Computer scientists can synthesis and use of knowledge, understanding and experience of the industry to provide quality products and services to public and private organizations concerned.
• Computer scientists who lead and engage in teams in problem-solving tasks menggunankan different disciplines through effective communication skills.
• Computer scientists continue to advance the knowledge and ability to use ICT to explore business opportunities.
• Computer scientists who practice ethical values ​​and professionalism in providing services to the recipients and provider of the industry.

Career Opportunities:

Graduates in this field can participate in the communication industry, multimedia, telecommunications, finance, banking, security, funds, trust funds, takaful, insurance, management, trading, fabrication computers, software, information technology, consulting, mining, transportation (land, sea and air). In addition, they can also become entrepreneurs, the franchisee or working in the public sector.
