Students who follow an accounting degree usually do so with the intention of going into professional accounting. However, this degree programme, while opening up the opportunity to follow a career in accounting or finance, does not by any means, limit choices to just this area. Students who follow this pathway will have a good grounding in some of the general principles of management, but with focus on the skills and knowledge which are crucial to project management, financial management, consultancy work as well as the potential for a career as a professional accountant or working with financial institutions.

A graduate can work as:

  • Accountant
  • Financial Controller
