Entry Requirements
Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
- Registered with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM);
- Accredited Diploma in Nursing;
- At least one year working experience as Staff Nurse;
- At least 3 months working experience in midwifery;
- Have a valid Annual Practice Certificate (APC).
Foreign Students
- Proficient in English, Min. 6.5 for IELTS or Min. 600 for TEOFL.
Special Entry Requirements
- Incomplete course in Midwifery from recognised institution but not more than 1 year.
- 10 credits can be transfered with the approval of MAHSA’s nursing Faculty.
- Student must take MAHSA’s qualifying examination.
Health Status
- Students must pass medical examination.
- No physical illness.
- BMI less than 28.
- Free from HIV, Hepatitis B/C, Epilepsy, Tuberculosis and Mental disorders.
Intakes
- Intakes are in March and September.
